Responsibilities
- Independent recording and posting of current business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset and general ledger accounting
- Checking, controlling and processing incoming and outgoing invoices
- Monitoring open items and preparing the dunning process to ensure smooth receivables management
- Preparation of payment transactions and ongoing monitoring of incoming payments
- Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts, including clarification and correction of posting differences
- Ensuring proper financial accounting in compliance with legal requirements and accounting regulations
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in financial accounting
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting.
- Confident handling of accounting software (DATEV) and MS Office
- Sound knowledge of accounting and tax law (in particular HGB, VAT law)
- Structured and independent way of working as well as a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
