The entrepreneurial spirit that Maria Denkinger brought to life back in the 1960s is not just a legacy, but a mission: only together can we achieve something – everyone with their own skills, in their own place in the company. Whereas in the past it was the family dining table where every employee had a seat and was listened to, today it is the always open door of the management, which always has a sympathetic ear for its employees.

1962
Josef and Maria Denkinger married. Josef Denkinger was already carrying out logging work with his truck at this time.
1964
Josef and Maria Denkinger founded the Josef Denkinger transport company together at his parents’ farm at the Rose inn.
Maria Denkinger has been the soul of the company from the very beginning.
The company logo with the flying duck was created back then.
Josef (Sepp) Denkinger was an enthusiastic hunter and chose a flying duck for the logo.
Transport “as if in flight”. The rose in the beak of the flying duck is a tribute to his parents’ Rose Inn.
1981
the company had three trucks.
1986
his son Nico Denkinger founded the transport company Nico Denkinger with three additional trucks.
1994
Construction of a new office, depot, warehouse and workshop at the Ehingen site, Röntgenstraße 11. The vehicle fleet was expanded to 15 trucks.
1995
Peter Denkinger founded the transport company Peter Denkinger.
1997
The individual companies merged and the GbR Josef, Nico and Peter Denkinger was founded.
09/1997
In September, the Barth haulage company in Laupheim was taken over and the company grew to 30 trucks.
1998
The individual companies are dissolved and Denkinger Internationale Spedition GmbH is founded with the managing directors Nico and Peter Denkinger.
Josef Denkinger retires.
1999
Company founder Josef Denkinger passes away.
2007
Expansion of the logistics area to 11,000 square meters.
2014
Acquisition of a 50,000 square meter plot of land for the expansion of the logistics area with hall, open spaces and its own railway siding in Allmendingen.
2016
The equipping of the entire vehicle fleet with Euro 6 diesels is completed.
02/2017
The ground-breaking ceremony and start of construction of the logistics center took place in February.
11/2017
The logistics hall is occupied. At the same time, the company invested in a reach stacker and thus expanded its intermodal and combined transport operations.
2019
Simon Brunner takes over the commercial management of Denkinger as a further managing director.
2020
Another forwarding location at the gates of Hamburg.
2022
New appearance through the revision of the word/figurative mark.
2022
